– Schneider Electric has launched a training programme for its electricians club, in collaboration with the French Development Agency (AFD) and National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN)
– Vconnect has partnered with Schneider Electric to make its training accessible to
electricians on the platform at a discount.
– Electricians on Vconnect can now join the training which will kick off on May 14, either by doing a full course or just in modules.
LAGOS, NIGERIA – Schneider Electric, one of the top manufacturers of energy management and electrical equipment has partnered up with Vconnect, as it launches its first advanced technical training for electricians with the financial support of the French Development Agency (AFD), implemented by the National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN).
Promise Abiahu, Product Specialist at Schneider Electric said: “Since the inception of the Electricians club, Schneider Electric has been committed to ensuring that the knowledge gap that exists among the uncertified electricians will be closed. This is why we have decided to launch this training which will be open to all electricians.”
The training is broken down into modules. Each module will take about two days to complete.The whole course, which is a total of all the modules runs for two months.
Vconnect, leading online service marketplace for service professionals has partnered up with Schneider for its electricians training. The partnership will see electricians who are registered on the Vconnect platform having unrestricted access to the Schneider Electric’s electricians’ training modules at a discounted fee.

The training event will be launched on the 6 th of May, 2019 while classes will begin roughly a week later, on May 14, 2019. Other partners are National Power Training Institute (NAPTIN) and international public financial institution, Agence Française de Développement (AFD).
