SME Conference 2.0 was rewarding (Just ask these businesses that won premium listings)

We kicked off 2017 with SME Conference 1.0 on the 19th of January, that first meeting of SMEs organised by VConnect and Facebook brought together industry leaders like Oluyomi Ojo of Prinitvo, Marek Zmylowski HotelOGA CEO, Airtel Director of Enterprise Business, Tawa Bolarin and many more.

Six months later, we decided to do it again, this time around, SME Conference 2.0 was held on the 8th of June 2017, at NECA house at Ikeja, Lagos. The theme for this year’s event was “Empowering the service sector”.

The Presentations

With about 100 enthusiastic SMEs in attendance, the session started off with a keynote address by Chukuwuemeka Fred Agbata, he talked in detail about why your business needs to be online.

Later on, Ayo Akinsiku presented “DIY website creation”, the session covered fundamentals of creating your own DIY website, Dashboard links to VConnect, Creating an SEO friendly URL, benefits of DIY sites,  and dispelled some myths about DIY websites.

Two attendees were winners of one-year VConnect premium listing services worth N120, 000  the businesses; Inspection & Facilities Management Service LTD and Pleasant Jay Events were part of the businesses that had complete business profiles on VConnect and were selected via a lucky dip.

SMEs also received a certificate of attendance at the end of the event.
